EARTH DAY The Concert

HEY, I HAVE A GREAT IDEA!!! ...lets celebrate the Earth on Earth Day  Thursday, April 22nd and do it in style...with this amazing concert.

The concert features two of the most talented original musical acts: Sasha Evans (think Norah Jones meets Regina Spektor) and Soul Rebel Alliance (think The Greatful Dead meets Stevie Wonder). I am not making this up!

They will perform @ Club M, 680 S. Coast Hwy. in Laguna Beach from 7-11pm. Club M is one the best venues in So Cal to experience a beautiful live music performance. Trust us you will want to be here! Please spread the word!

FREE TICKETS!!! ...Tickets are normally $20, but you can get in free if you bring two friends...and your friends can receive 1/2 off if they RSVP in advance.

The concert is also half off for those who volunteered over the weekend at one of the many Earth Day events organized by HelpBlueWater.com...we know who you are! For a small donation you can receive a cool event T-shirt as well! Call Rick 949.573-8624 if you want to volunteer?

The 4th Annual Earth Day Beautification Celebration

This comprehensive beach and town beautification will be held Saturday, April 17th, from 9-12pm throughout Laguna Beach and attempt to clean the entire city in one day (Why not!). Post cleanup activities will include: The Worlds Largest HUG on EARTH Day, a world championship skimboarding exhibition and a speed sandcastle building contest.

and then later in the week, on Thursday, April 22nd, from 7-11pm a celebration concert featuring rising star Sasha Evans and Southern California favorite Soul Rebel Alliance organized by HelpBlueWater.com ...trust us you will want to be there!

HelpBlueWater.com is asking residents throughout the city to call 949.573-8624 to adopt the street (or section of) they wish to beautify... so we avoid doubling up. Volunteers throughout Southern California are welcome to participate.

High-schoolers can receive community service hours for their efforts. Parking passes will be made available after April 13th, on the www.HelpBlueWater.com website.

The comprehensive beach & town beautification effort, will be held throughout Laguna Beach on Saturday, April 17th from 9- 12 noon. Main Beach and Aliso Beach will be the main check-in site to sign-in and receive your discounted concert voucher, volunteers are also encouraged to adopt a street (or section of) they wish to beautify.

At noon, after the initial cleanup, there will be a pause in the cleanup activities as all volunteers converge on Aliso Beach to participate in the Blue Water events designed to demonstrate why it is  important for us to keep our beaches clean: Speed Sandcastle Building Contest, watch a skimboarding exhibition featuring 5X world champion skimboarder Bill Bryan and the Skim Chicks lead by Pamela Simpson as they perform for us at the site of the Skimboarding World Championships. ...Then everyone comes together for The Worlds Largest HUG on EARTH Day (see below).

This event will will also act as the official kick-off for the Clean Beach Station Program. (Click on image for program details).

The Worlds Largest HUG on EARTH DAY takes place at noon @ Aliso Beach (just south of the snack bar). Through the HUG, HelpBlueWater.com hopes to send our planet a powerful message.

According to Rick Conkey, the Earth is not happy. Volcanoes, earthquakes, floods, tsunamis and hurricanes are only a very small portion of the planets truly amazing vocabulary. Most of us have long forgotten its ancient wisdom making the Earth feel isolated and alone. Most experts now agree its patience and skin (Ozone Layer) are wearing thin - so there is no more time to waste! ...We must act now! Hugging the planet is no easy feat. It will take all of us to ensure its effectiveness.

For more information about all Earth Day event and how to volunteer send us a message on our contact page, or call Rick 949.573-8624.
